For a long time, most of our work happened out of sight. We concentrated on making Skill Chamber into a product we could be proud of: turning conversational AI into purposeful role-play, giving teachers meaningful control, and creating practice that learners can use with confidence.
That period demanded focus. We spent more time building, testing, listening, and refining than talking about what we were doing. The product had to earn its way into the world.
A new phase for Skill Chamber
Now that is beginning to change. We are starting to sign new client partners and take Skill Chamber into more learning environments. It feels like the beginning of a new phase: expanding outwards while keeping the care, attention, and educational purpose that shaped the product from the start.
That makes the timing of our feature in Cantabria Económica feel particularly fitting. Skill Chamber appears in the magazine’s “Los nuevos emprendedores” section, where journalist Begoña Cueli tells the story of the company, the founders, and the problem we set out to solve.
Practice, teachers, and human capability
The feature explores several ideas that sit at the heart of Skill Chamber: the shortage of realistic practice in education, the potential of conversational role-play, and the importance of using AI to support teachers rather than remove them from the learning process.
It also captures something personal: how Adam and Ernesto arrived in Cantabria from different parts of the world, met through their children’s school, and discovered a shared concern for education and a complementary appetite for building things.
Built in Cantabria, looking outwards
We are especially pleased that this recognition has come from Cantabria. It is where Skill Chamber became a company, where much of the product was shaped, and where the relationships around it began to grow.
Being featured is not a finish line. The product remains our focus, and there is still a great deal to build. But after a long stretch of working quietly, new partnerships are forming, the platform is moving out into the world, and Skill Chamber is starting to get noticed.
Thank you to Cantabria Económica, Begoña Cueli, and photographer Ramiro Silvestre for taking the time to tell our story.
